Lydia Keating is a writer, performer, and digital creator.
She has 1.7 million followers on TikTok and 120K on Instagram. On both platforms, she shares her writing and other things she's passionate about. She is managed as a digital creator by the Shine Talent Agency.
She holds degrees from Yale University (BA Cognitive Science), where she was a Yale Journalism Scholar, and Boston University (MFA Creative Writing), where she was the recipient of the William Holodnak Prize that honored her as one of the two top fiction writers in the cohort.
Lydia attended Yale University where she graduated with a BA in Cognitive Science. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked as an assistant at William Morris Endeavor before moving to Rashida Jones and Will McCormack’s company, Le Train Train Productions. She was a PA on Will McCormack’s Oscar winning film, IF ANYTHING HAPPENS I LOVE YOU.
In fall of 2020, Lydia sold her pilot, EDDY, to the production company, Picturestart, as a scripted podcast. The project is currently in development and expected to be released in 2023.
Her essay, I’m an Influencer, and I Think Social Media Is Toxic was published in Slate. Her journalism has also appeared in the LA Weekly and NPR member station, WGBH.
Lydia is currently working on her first novel.
